Got a tour of the facility and saw the office space where the role is located within the IT department. I met with several team leaders who explained their responsibilities, the team's structure, and their contributions to the company. I also spoke with current employees to share my experience.

The people I talked to were really nice. I felt a good connection after the 3 interviews, but it took about 3 weeks to hear back. I had to reach out to find out they picked an internal person. So, if it takes that long, you probably didn't get it, and having to chase them isn't a good sign. Also, don't get too set on one job. I was bummed about how it went, but the team seemed cool to work with.

I had 2 interviews. First was a 30-minute phone call with the HR head, who was retiring that day so it felt a bit pointless. About a week later, I had a Zoom interview which consisted of two 45-minute sessions. The first session was with two interviewers, and the second was with a different interviewer. The interview itself was fine with normal questions and friendly people. The overall experience was bad because I never heard back after a month, which I found rude after two interviews. It felt unprofessional to me.

My interview process with IGS began with a good phone chat with the recruiter. After that, I had two in-person interviews and did two design challenges. Then, they told me the job was on hold and would be split into two roles. They mentioned I was a great candidate and would fit the company and team well, and that I wouldn't have to redo the whole process, but would just continue from where I left off. The recruiter said they'd know more in a few weeks. I didn't hear back, so I followed up. I had to chase the recruiter several times for an update that nothing had changed. This happened a few times. Then I saw one of the jobs I applied for posted. IGS went completely silent. I even asked another recruiter to check on my status for me and was ignored. I thought IGS was a good company that treated people with integrity, but it seems they just ghost candidates and don't care.
