The process started with an OA which had 1 DSA question and 7 sections of MCQs covering SQL, OOPS, Aptitude, OS, CN, DSA, and Cognitude. After that, there was a panel interview with 2 interviewers. They asked about my Projects, internship experience, and Certifications. Then they went into OOPS and SQL, asking me to write 2 SQL Queries, and then code for bubble sort. They also grilled me on AWS and JWT. The second interview was more relaxed, focusing mainly on my resume – I had to know everything I mentioned on it inside out. The third interview was the HR Round, where they asked basic behavioral questions and some background checking questions.

It was a college placement drive, and the interview questions were mostly basic and resume-focused. The catch was that after shortlisting, they called 60-70 students. The process started late. They took 30-40 minute interviews for the first 20-30 students, and by 5 pm, they mostly selected students from that initial group. As time ran out, they shortened interviews to just 3-5 minutes for those who waited all day, mainly to say they were given a chance. It was a messed-up and unprofessional situation, with some students selected just because their serial number was earlier.

So first, we had this online test that was both aptitude and coding based, to see how you solve problems and code. Then came the interviews. There were three rounds in total. The first was a technical interview where we talked about core concepts and problem-solving. The second was also a technical interview, but it went deeper into specific knowledge for the job and how you'd actually use it. Finally, the third round was with HR, checking if you'd fit in, how you communicate, and what your career goals are.

The interview process was pretty involved and had several steps. First, there was an online test that included a 30-minute aptitude section, then a tough 1-hour DSA challenge, and also 30 multiple-choice questions covering basic computer concepts. Out of about 120-130 students who took the test, only 18 got through to the first interview. This initial interview really dug into the details of the projects and experience mentioned on the resume. After that, 9 people moved on to a final HR and technical interview with the VP of the Mumbai office. In the end, 4 candidates were offered the job.
