Channel Marketing Manager
The hiring process was pretty standard and easy. I spoke with HR, my potential manager, and the manager's manager (N+2). It felt organized and well-planned. The questions were not hard and mostly about my background, experience, and why I want the job. They felt like normal talks, not like a tough interview, which was nice. The communication was good too. HR let me know what was happening quickly after each part, which was great. It made things clear and I didn't have to wait around wondering. All in all, it was a smooth and good hiring experience.
- Can you tell me about a campaign you managed?
Cloud Architect
The first round had an aptitude test, English grammar, and 3 coding questions, all of which had to be answered correctly. It was an on-campus interview. Afterward, selected candidates went on to an HR interview where questions like 'introduce yourself' and 'why you want to work this company' were asked.
- Tell me about yourself, focusing on Java and Cloud.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Why do you want to work for this company?
Software Engineer
It was a good experience, the people were nice. First, I met with an engineer and the team leader. We talked about system design and did a coding interview using a whiteboard. We also had some general chatting. After that, I met with the group manager. They told me about the main project, how the team works together, how the project was going, and why they were hiring more people. The last round was with HR. You can ask for more money, but HR might reduce it. They mentioned that the manager had already promised a certain salary level, so you could keep negotiating with HR.
- How would you find a sorted array?
- Design a medium-scale platform.
Human Resources Coordinator
The initial contact was good. During the video call, one interviewer was pretty frosty and asked some tough questions. This is expected, but it didn't make me want to work under her. My main issue is the complete ghosting after the interview. It's embarrassing that after talking about candidate experience, they just ignored me. I understand if I wasn't a fit, but replying to one of my emails should have been easy. With sites like this, it's better to fix the candidate experience, or more reviews like this will pop up.
- How do you prefer to be managed?
- What feedback would your previous employers give about you?
- What interview questions do you typically use to assess if a candidate is a good fit?
