I went through 2 rounds of online interviews, and then met the entire team in person at their office. During the in-person part, they seemed super excited about me joining, even showing me my potential desk, which made it confusing when they went silent afterwards. I was on an F-1 student/OPT visa and would have needed sponsorship for my second year. They might have decided against it because of the visa sponsorship, despite me mentioning it multiple times during interviews. I really liked talking with them though, and they seem like a cool, respectful creative team!

Had a really good talk with some of the leaders and managers. It was pretty chill and nice. They seemed genuinely curious about my career aspirations and how they could fit with the job opening. We chatted about some of the projects they have coming up and their future plans for the studio. They also gave some solid advice for young professionals trying to get ahead.

The interview process was pretty chill, though a bit messy sometimes. First, there was a quick chat with HR that was super clear and helpful. Then, I talked with some project architects, which felt a bit all over the place but was still pretty easy. The last interview with the technical director was more organized and felt like a standard interview.

It was pretty disorganized. I got a notification less than 24 hours before my call saying the interviewer couldn't make it. The same thing happened after the interview. I was told I'd hear back in a few weeks, but it took multiple weeks even after I followed up a few times. They finally replied, giving me a response timeline, and I still never heard back. Honestly, I would have preferred a clear rejection over being left hanging. Job searching is tough, and some basic communication goes a long way.
