I went through 1 phone call and 2 video calls for this role. The questions were about my experience and my understanding of claims data and how a payer integrates with a software system, including cms and associated metadata and the etl process necessary for those data to become useful.

The interview process is pretty standard. You start with a call from HR, then you interview with the Hiring Manager, and if that goes well, you'll have a second interview with their manager. Sometimes, they might also have you meet with some of the other team members.

You have 2 interviews, well actually 3. The very first one is with a recruiter. Next, you have a group interview with the managers and agents in the department, who are the ones that decide. Next, you wait 2 weeks. You can then be chosen for a 2nd interview. The same people are interviewing you and a few others now too. You are asked pretty much the same questions.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Tell me about your customer service experience and give some examples of situations.
  • Do you focus more on the big picture or the details?
  • Do you have any claims experience?

So I applied, and then I had an AI chatbot screening by text. The Application Timeline link they sent me said I passed the Recruiter Review and was at the Recruiter Interview stage, but then Healthfirst never actually reached out for the interview. The whole thing was with an AI chatbot and no reply email, which wasn't the best recruiting experience.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What is the highest degree you have obtained?
  • Can you state your years of experience working with data?
  • What is your desired hourly salary?
