First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health First.
Registered Nurse
The recruiters were great at guiding me and helping me out. The only thing was that they were really pushing MedSurg units. I'd suggest doing a walk-in interview because the online process could take up to four months to finish your application.
- Were you asked about a preference for day or night shift?
Registered Nurse
I had an interview with the nurse recruiter as a new grad. The recruiter was really nice and easy to chat with, and knew a lot about the role. They got back to me quickly. Because of COVID, the interview was done over the phone and the recording was sent to the unit I applied to.
- Could you tell me why you're interested in this position?
- What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
Registered Nurse
Had a phone interview first, then an in-person one. It was a panel group interview on the unit, and they gave a short tour. Each person on the panel asked a few questions, mostly about conflict resolution and personality.
- Tell me about a situation where you encountered a conflict and how you managed to resolve it.
