First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guardian Industries.
EHS Engineer
I went through 4 rounds of interviews. The first was a technical interview with the hiring manager and my future direct manager. The second was with the regional EHS representative for the Middle East. The third was with the HR Business Partner at the 10th of Ramadan Plant. These first three interviews were all online. I also asked for a plant tour during the process. They then scheduled a final interview with the operations director, which was in person.
- Do you have any fears?
- Can you describe the challenges you encountered in your previous role?
Order Fulfillment Coordinator
This was a really bad and distressing experience, especially for a fresh graduate. The interviewer immediately told me I lacked self-confidence, which felt very judgmental and went against what they claimed about supporting individuals.
- Can you tell me about your experience and qualifications?
- What do you consider your greatest strengths and areas for improvement?
- Can you provide an example of a time you worked effectively under pressure?
EHS Engineer
It took a while, about two months, but they screened me over the phone first. Then I had an interview with the department manager, followed by the HR interview. All of those were online. Finally, I had an in-person meeting with the plant director. After that, I think there was a background check and then the offer.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your greatest fear?
- Describe a difficult situation or disagreement you managed.
Production Supervisor
I sent an unsolicited application for a Production Supervisor position through their website. The HR department responded in 11 minutes and asked me to contact them. We had a good phone call, and they scheduled an in-person interview at the site. I had 3 interviews on one day over 5 months, meeting a total of 9 different people across 3 sessions. Three months later, I was offered a Production Supervisor position, but on the first day, nobody was aware of my arrival or which production line I was supposed to manage. They ended up placing me in the logistics sector!
- Why did you choose Guardian?
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
