Tableau Developer
It was a 3 stage process - L1 round, Tableau Assignment, L2 round. I cleared all three rounds. Now HR is saying they don't have budget. This is surprising because we discussed the budget before the interview process started. They need immediate joiners for all positions and rushed through all rounds, only to state a budget issue in the end. Not sure what sort of immediate requirements these are, they seem to be making up every requirement as immediate.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you demonstrate how to build a donut chart?
- How would you go about color coding just one row in a cross table?
Senior Java Developer
It was a walk-in interview, and I was asked to reach at 1 PM. I got there at 12:30 PM, and the interview didn't wrap up until 9:30 PM. There were two rounds, and both were elimination rounds. Each round took about 1.5 hours, and they had me write 2-3 programs in each. The first round focused on Java 8 programming, with questions on Java 8 itself, multithreading, Apache Kafka, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and core Java. After passing the first round, I moved to the second, where they dug deeper into topics and had me write 2-3 pseudo-code programs because their system wasn't set up with Java. This round lasted nearly 2 hours. The interviewer seemed pleased and gave positive signals. The recruiter said they'd call the next day for the next round, but since it was late, I didn't hear back. A week later, I called for feedback and was told I only completed one round according to their system. I mentioned I was there until 9:30 PM, and they said they'd check. Immediately after, I got a rejection message citing that the code I wrote in the second round didn't run. I explained it was pseudo-code and the interviewer was happy, but the HR didn't say much, just hung up.

Software Engineer
I interviewed for a software engineer role focusing on Java. They asked fundamental questions about the technologies listed on my resume, covering topics like the basic collection framework, String concepts, multithreading, Spring Boot, its basic annotations, and how things like HashMap work internally.
- Could you answer some basic core Java questions?
- What are the basic concepts of the collection framework?
- Can you explain the String concept?
QA Automation Lead
Applied online and then got a call from HR. After the initial screening, the 1st round was scheduled covering jenkins, selenium, and API testing. The HR didn't provide any update for 2 days, so I had to follow up for the results. After that, the 2nd round was scheduled, which HR mentioned would be a techno-managerial round. Without any prior communication, the 2nd round was rescheduled. The interviewer seemed very arrogant and it felt like he was forced to conduct this interview. Overall, not a good experience.
- Could you write code to sort an array?
- How would you find the word with the most characters in a string?
- What are the methods to find duplicates from a database?
