It was a walk-in interview, and I was asked to reach at 1 PM. I got there at 12:30 PM, and the interview didn't wrap up until 9:30 PM. There were two rounds, and both were elimination rounds. Each round took about 1.5 hours, and they had me write 2-3 programs in each. The first round focused on Java 8 programming, with questions on Java 8 itself, multithreading, Apache Kafka, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and core Java. After passing the first round, I moved to the second, where they dug deeper into topics and had me write 2-3 pseudo-code programs because their system wasn't set up with Java. This round lasted nearly 2 hours. The interviewer seemed pleased and gave positive signals. The recruiter said they'd call the next day for the next round, but since it was late, I didn't hear back. A week later, I called for feedback and was told I only completed one round according to their system. I mentioned I was there until 9:30 PM, and they said they'd check. Immediately after, I got a rejection message citing that the code I wrote in the second round didn't run. I explained it was pseudo-code and the interviewer was happy, but the HR didn't say much, just hung up.

So, the interview process had four rounds total. It kicked off with a written test, then a coding test covering core Java and advanced Java with about 25 questions. After that, there was a group discussion, and finally, an HR round. I managed to get through the first three stages, but unfortunately, I didn't hear back about the last one.

The first part of the interview was a written test. It had some aptitude questions and some Java questions. Honestly, it was a pretty easy test if you know core Java and aptitude well. There were also some SQL questions thrown in.
