The hiring process was straightforward. First, I had a video call with the Director, who is an L&D professional familiar with Instructional Design. Then, I had an in-person interview. The questions were pretty easy and the atmosphere was relaxed.

I've had three negative interview experiences with this company over four years. The first time, a headhunter contacted me, and after several phone screens, I heard nothing until I ran into a recruiter. Six months later, a recruiter reached out, and after more phone screens, I had a two-hour onsite interview with a senior executive, followed by a facility tour request. Then, radio silence again. The third time, a headhunter contacted me again. Despite my reservations from the previous ghostings, I considered it. I had a Teams interview that seemed promising, and I was told I'd advance to onsite interviews with local senior leaders. However, after two weeks of silence, the headhunter informed me they went with an internal candidate. While I understand hiring is complex, basic professional courtesy seems lacking. I acknowledge pursuing the third opportunity after the first two experiences was my decision, perhaps illustrating the saying 'Fool me three times...'

Behavioral Technical Other

The interview process was quite a rollercoaster. I thought it went super well, and the company officials even offered me the job the very next day. But then, HR stepped in and said no, with absolutely no explanation, which was really frustrating. I later figured out it's because HR at this company doesn't like to pay what people are actually worth.
