The interview process started with a group discussion (GD) and an aptitude test. For the GD, candidates could choose their own topic. The next round was technical, where we had to build a basic CRUD to-do app using FastAPI in Python, with a simple HTML and vanilla JS frontend. We were allowed to use AI and the internet, and had 1 hour and 30 minutes for the task. After finishing the app, we needed to show the API output in Postman and Jenkins.

So the interview began with an exam and then a chat with the HR manager. She was nice and asked standard stuff. But then it got really weird with the partner interview. This guy was super aggressive and unprofessional, asking questions totally unrelated to the job, like an interrogation. It was a really strange and unprofessional vibe.

So, the recruiter from the company reached out to me, and they were going to give me an online Java test to complete within the next week. It was a 4-hour test, the longest I've ever done. There were two questions in the test: the first was a Java programming question where I had to calculate the total fee for a phone bill given as a string, but there was a lot of description on how to calculate the bill, which was quite time-consuming. The second question was about SQL, and I ended up using avg() and left join for it. After a week, the recruiter got back to me and sent me a link for the next step, which was an interview.

I had a phone interview and then was given an assignment test on codility.com. The test had two tasks, one in Java and one in SQL. My score on the Java task wasn't great, and I haven't heard back from the recruiter since.
