Case Presentation Behavioral

The negative experience is due to the lack of common courtesy from the company towards job candidates. This is after two calls with the hiring manager, a case presentation, and speaking with over five members of the extended team. Then, I was told I would speak with someone else the following week, but they disappeared and I never heard back. The whole process took over three months. You'd think after investing so much time, even if I wasn't a good fit, someone would respond. But nope. I didn't follow up because this company doesn't value people, is unorganized, or both.

Behavioral Case Technical

The interview process included a phone screen, a call with the hiring manager, a case study, and a final round with about 6-7 people. It moved pretty fast until the final round, then it just stopped. I waited nearly two weeks after the final round for a decision, with no updates. Even though I didn't get the job, I didn't receive any negative feedback and was told the team really liked me. The hiring manager even said they wanted to hire me. One person out of the seven I was supposed to interview with didn't show up for the virtual onsite. The lack of communication and the long wait for a decision felt like they were just keeping me around until they found someone better. It felt like they were waiting to see if they could hire someone else before letting me know.

Behavioral

My job search started with an email response to my application and we quickly set up a 20-minute phone chat. Glu quickly set up an in-person interview and was super quick to get back to emails. Before the email, they sent me a schedule for the interview with the attorneys' names, plus interview tips and directions to the office. When I got there, they showed me around the office. The one-on-one interviews were back-to-back and they were all super happy to answer my questions about the company and the job. I left knowing a lot about what the job involved.

Behavioral Other

A recruiting coordinator reached out to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then, they contacted me again for an onsite interview. The whole thing went pretty fast. The onsite involved 4 separate interviews, each lasting 20-30 minutes, with different team members. One person just spent the whole time asking me if I had questions and if I was talking to other companies. It felt a bit awkward. The onsite itself wasn't very organized. I ended up waiting ages because the interview room was double-booked, and it seemed like there wasn't much coordination going on among the interviewers.
