It was a 3 stage interview, starting with an HR screening call. Then there was a 1st stage interview with the Hiring manager. The 2nd stage interview was with the Hiring manager and one senior stakeholder, which included a presentation and in-depth questions related to my experience and the presentation context.

The initial contact is made via WhatsApp. They then call and ask a series of questions about your undergraduate course, salary expectations, and location. After that, they inquire about your availability to start the following week. A downside is that the company doesn't offer extended breaks during Christmas or New Year's; you're expected to work on December 23rd and return on the 26th, and for New Year's, you return on January 2nd.

So, for the Global Sales Associate job, it starts with submitting your application and resume. Recruiters look at your background to see if you're a good match. If they like what they see, you'll have a first chat, maybe a phone or video call, with someone from HR or recruiting. They'll ask about your past work, your sales experience, and why you're interested in this job. After that, you'll probably do a more detailed interview, likely with the hiring manager. This part really digs into your sales skills, how you work with teams across the world, and how you've handled tough sales situations. Sometimes, they might give you a sales task or a case study to see if you can come up with a sales plan for different international markets. If you keep moving forward, you might meet with senior leaders or a group of interviewers. They'll want to know if you'll fit in with the company culture, what your career goals are, and if you align with what the company wants for its global sales team. Finally, if it all goes well, you'll get a job offer, and you might need to discuss salary, benefits, and other details. To do well, make sure you highlight your international experience, any sales wins you've had, your communication abilities, and that you understand how the company operates globally.

After applying, I got a quick response and a phone interview was scheduled just before Christmas 2023. It seemed to go really well, and I was told I'd hear back in the new year. However, I didn't hear anything. I sent multiple emails to the recruitment contact and left voicemails, and called other people at the company who just told me to email the contact. I only got a response after I found one of the interviewer's numbers and texted them to ask for a reply. I get that they probably have a lot of applicants, but I'm really surprised a company this big doesn't have a system to at least email interviewed candidates to let them know they didn't get the job.
