Software Engineer
The interview process included a regular check-in with HR followed by a panel interview.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced and how you handled it, also including what you could have done better?
- What would you consider your most significant accomplishment so far?
Software Developer
The interview process began with a relaxed and friendly chat with potential colleagues, where we discussed programming blogs and problem-solving approaches for about an hour. This was followed by a 30-minute coding challenge, which received positive feedback. We then spent another 30 minutes discussing the challenge and alternative solutions. The next stage involved a meeting with the project manager, who started by questioning the honesty of my CV and my reactions. This led to a defensive and unpleasant conversation where she criticized my CV, questioned my reasons for leaving my previous job, and accused me of avoiding challenges. The meeting, which lasted over 2.5 hours, was a negative experience, making me realize I didn't want to work with her. Following this, I contacted the recruiter to withdraw my application, expressing dissatisfaction with the wasted time and the interview's tone.
- Given a web application that accesses a database, what strategies could be employed to improve its performance?
Software Engineer
Went through the process, but unfortunately, both company and recruiter (Wave Talent) ghosted after the interview, with no feedback or a rejection email. Emailing asking for feedback or status was also ignored. Very unprofessional.
- System Design questions related to Python
