Product Owner
I had 3 rounds of interviews. Something I really liked about the interviewers was that they gave constructive feedback, highlighting both strengths and areas for development. It felt like they genuinely invest in their employees' professional growth.

Software Engineer
After the HR screening, there were 2 rounds. The first was a tough 90-minute technical assessment with four team members, then an on-site with the Department Director. Even though the interviews went well, I never heard back after the last interview even though they said they would keep me updated. I emailed HR and the hiring manager but got no reply. It's a bummer and not very professional that they didn't follow up.

Contracts Analyst
I applied for the role on February 26th, 2024. About two weeks later, a recruiter called me for an initial chat. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager on March 25th. My skills and experience are more than what the role requires. They were actually looking to hire for two positions. The hiring manager seemed unprepared and didn't have many questions. I asked my questions, and that was it. I sent a thank-you note afterwards, hoping I'd move forward. After checking in with the recruiter for an update, I got an automated email from GHX saying I wasn't selected.
- Can you tell me about some challenges you've faced in previous jobs?
Employee Communications Manager
The first call was pretty standard, asking about my background and experience. The rest of the process was a letdown. After the phone screen, I was told I'd move to a video interview with the hiring manager and was asked about my availability for the next week. I never heard back from the recruiter or scheduler, even after a few emails asking for an update on scheduling. I finally got a response 4 weeks later saying the role was filled. My advice to recruiters is to be upfront with candidates and provide updates. Telling candidates they are advancing and to "please reach out with any questions" and then not responding until the position is filled is very unprofessional. It's a two-way street, as candidates are also evaluating if the company is a good fit for them. Apparently, this isn't just my experience, as other reviews suggest.
- Can you share your experience with communicating to all staff?
