Behavioral Other

The interview process included an initial chat with a recruiter on Teams, followed by a meeting with the department manager, also on Teams. Then there was a behavioral interview with some coworkers via Teams, and finally, an interview with the VP of the department, again on Teams. I got a generic rejection email the day after the last interview. Everything went fine until the last interview, which felt really awkward and forced.

  • They asked typical interview questions.
  • For the behavioral part, they wanted answers using the STAR method, which made me slow down to ensure I included all the necessary points. It felt a bit unusual.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The process started with a tour of the office led by the HR recruiter. After that, there was an interview with a Sales Manager to discuss work ethic, future aspirations within the company, goals, and motivations. This was followed by a panel interview with a diverse group of employees (sales, CS, Live Chat) to assess cultural fit. After the panel, candidates were given a computer test to complete at home. Round 2 involved an interview with the Chief Sales Officer/Operations Officer, focusing on sales capabilities. The final round was an interview with the CEO, who asked about self-improvement and motivation.

Technical Behavioral

I applied online and was quickly invited to an in-person hiring event. On arrival, I was taken to a computer lab for a basic call center skills test. After finishing the test, I was informed I qualified for a 'prescreen.' While waiting for the prescreen, I was in a conference room called 'the van' with other candidates. During this waiting period, some applicants were visited by friends who already worked there, which made it seem like knowing people there was important for getting hired. Afterward, I was moved to a small room to await a phone call. I received a call from what I believe was a hiring manager. They asked very basic questions, and the call lasted only a couple of minutes. I was then told they needed to screen the other applicants before contacting me. The following day, I received a rejection email. The guaranteed interview felt like a waste of time, as the prescreen could have been done over the phone from home. It seems beneficial to know someone working at the company. On a positive note, most employees appeared happy, and the process was professional, with snacks and drinks provided while waiting.

Behavioral Presentation

The first interview involved a tour of the office, which was really impressive with its structure and culture. I then spoke with an HR rep, who was great, followed by a manager, and later two employees in the role. The manager made it feel conversational, which put me at ease. The employees were friendly and down-to-earth, making me feel comfortable. The final interview was with the director of Customer Service. This one made me a bit nervous, but she was nice and straightforward, wanting to understand me and my motivation for wanting to work there. It was a wonderful and the best recruiting experience I've ever had.
