First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Giesecke+Devrient.
Production Operator
I met with the Production Manager. We took a tour of the plant, which is a very secure facility. I observed the potential work area. The manager answered my questions and also asked me a few questions about safety and conflict resolution. The interview was over in 30 minutes.
- What is your course of action when you are uncertain about how to perform a task?
Software Engineer
Found this role on Naukri and applied there directly. My profile got shortlisted and I received an interview invitation. It was a long interview, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. The interviewer covered topics like Java, Spring Boot, Databases, and also asked some Design questions.
- Could you answer some advanced Java questions?
- What about some low level design questions?
- Do you have any database questions for me?
Manager
It was a terrible interview process with no professionalism or clear plan, just a waste of time. I was called multiple times for interviews that lasted 2-3 hours without any structure. They seemed unsure about the role they were hiring for. I advise against interviewing with them.
- Describe how you would manage conflicts.
Engineer
So the interview process has three parts. First, you'll chat with the district manager, talking about field engineer jobs and your work schedule. Then, there's a site visit where you'll do a mechanical assessment and an online aptitude test on tools and electronics. Finally, you'll have a virtual interview with the district manager and the service manager.
- Questions related to your mechanical and electrical abilities will be asked.
