Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Giesecke+Devrient.
Engineer
So the interview process has three parts. First, you'll chat with the district manager, talking about field engineer jobs and your work schedule. Then, there's a site visit where you'll do a mechanical assessment and an online aptitude test on tools and electronics. Finally, you'll have a virtual interview with the district manager and the service manager.
- Questions related to your mechanical and electrical abilities will be asked.
Engineer
Friendly interview with a department head who explained in detail how the company works and my role within it. Also, they encourage activities with employees like a paddle tennis league or group excursions.
- Very general questions, mostly personal.
Lead Engineer
The whole process is kinda slow, but it's easy to get through if your CV really matches the job description, so make sure to use the right keywords. Then you gotta prep for the interview, especially system design stuff.
- Could you tell me about the different kinds of constructors?
