Started with an HR screening, just basic stuff about experience and what I'm looking for salary-wise. Then a technical round, they dug into JavaScript, Node.js, and how databases work. The last part was with a manager, talking about my previous projects and how I approach problems.

The interview was pretty simple. It's usually a two-interview process, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions. They might ask a few tech questions, but it's only consumer-level stuff since you're a consultant.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What would you do if you couldn't speak the same language as the customer?
  • What's your favorite piece of technology and why?
  • What would you do if you had a task that needed to be done and your shift was ending?

Behavioral Technical

The interview included basic questions, mostly focused on personality or customer service. There were very few technical questions, with the focus being more on qualifications or past experience. They reviewed my resume and discussed my future goals, then asked about my availability on weekends and holidays, so it was very basic. Just remember to bring a physical copy of your resume to the interview.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you tell me about your previous experience?
  • What are your aspirations for the future?
  • Are you available to work on weekends and holidays?

The whole process is done online. It involves a set of questions where you have 10 seconds to prep before recording your answer. While it feels impersonal, this is pretty standard for large retail companies. You can re-record your answers as many times as you need to. About a week after this initial interview, you'll get a follow-up.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about a time you faced a significant challenge and how you managed to get through it.
