I talked to a lot of people, and even got flown out for a day of interviews. Most of the conversations felt pretty casual, more like getting to know each other than a formal interview, which was nice. But, it took up a lot of my time, and then they only offered me $60k for the linguistic consultant job. I'm entry-level and don't have a grad degree, but that salary seems a bit low compared to industry standards. Looking back, I guess I should've expected a lower offer because they seemed to care more about helping people than making money, even though as a consultant, "helping people" really just means helping them make money.

This interview process felt very impersonal. I was initially presented with many positive expectations, but then experienced a complete lack of follow-up. The first interaction was a brief 15-minute session where I was only given information about the company; I didn't get to speak. The subsequent round involved questions about my personal background, which is standard for interviews. More details about the role were provided, and in the next interview, I had the opportunity to ask questions about the position itself. Everything seemed promising until communication ceased entirely. This also happened to a friend of mine. I would advise against investing your time here.

The interview process was quite extensive and spanned over 4 weeks. It began with an initial discussion involving an HR representative and another company member who shared similar interests. This was followed by a series of interviews conducted over BlueJeans (similar to Skype), where I spoke with 4 individuals throughout a single day. Subsequently, I was invited to their office for further interviews with another 4 people. The process concluded with a final interview session in front of 12 VPs simultaneously, during which I was asked to describe myself.

I first learned about Gap International at a university career fair. I reached out to the recruiter via email, and we had an hour-long phone chat. After that, I had my first official interview at their headquarters. Before the interview, I had to finish an online course on Breakthrough thinking that took about 3-4 hours.
