First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Galderma.
Talent Acquisition
I was contacted by an agency and had a first screen with them. Then, I had a general interview with an in-house TA person, followed by a second interview with another TA who dug deeper into my sourcing skills. After that, there was no update for three weeks. I ended up checking the ATS and saw I was rejected without any direct communication. The whole process, from initial recruiter contact to the interviews, took a month. It was honestly a really bad experience and makes me hesitant to apply to Galderma again. My advice: improve the candidate experience!
- Could you tell me about a role you've sourced in the past?
Director
The interview process was pretty structured. It began with a recruiter chat, then I spoke with the department head. After that, there were several cross-functional discussions with five future colleagues. I also had time with the VP of HR and the CEO. These talks gave me a clear picture of the team, what the priorities are, and how the company operates. It really helped me understand the company's values and how this role fits into execution. The whole thing took about two months from start to finish.
- Tell me about your interest in this position.
- Describe some projects you've managed and what the results were.
- How do you handle prioritization and leadership in fast-paced settings?
Finance Manager
I applied for their Finance Manager role in the Immunology department and ended up getting ghosted after all the interview stages. There were 6 rounds in total: a recruiter screen, a meeting with the hiring manager, and a panel discussion where I spoke with 4 different people individually. I followed up twice via email with both HR contacts, but never heard back, even though they said they'd let me know the outcome either way after the last round.
- Can you share a difficult experience from your previous work, detailing how you managed it, the specific challenges you faced, and the final outcome?
National Account Manager
HR called me first to see if my salary expectations and location matched what they were looking for. Then, I had a quick interview with the hiring manager. It wasn't long before I found out I passed and got the final in-person interview, which was a good experience and went fast. But after the final interview, I didn't hear back, even though my presentation went well and the hiring manager said I'd hear back in a week. I followed up with HR for a few weeks, but they never replied, basically ghosting me. It was really disappointing and felt like they didn't respect my time and effort in traveling and preparing the presentation.
- Can you explain how you handle account management?
