Finance Intern
I didn't get the job, it was my first interview and I was really nervous. Hope I get one next time. There were a lot of rounds and questions, I can't remember them. If anyone remembers, please tell me. Thank you.
- Do you have prior experience in finance?
Instructional Designer
I'm giving a negative review because after FIVE progressive levels of interview stages, they finished by telling me I would hear back by a certain date. The date came and went, and no response. I reached out to my contact asking if there was an update or a revised timeline, but still got no response. It has now been 4 days past when they told me I would hear back, but instead they ghosted me. If a company puts someone through that many interview stages, ghosting them at the end is really disrespectful... At least give some closure in the process, even if it's just an email informing them they didn't get the offer. The interview process started off with a typical 30 minute screening call, then moved on to a 1 hour interview with the head of the department, then a take-home challenge, then a 1 hour interview with two people in the department. The final stage involved a group interview.
- Tell me about a time you had to manage multiple competing deadlines.
Channel Manager
This whole process was a disaster. Honestly, if you like being lied to and having your time completely disrespected, this is the company for you. I had multiple meetings with the hiring manager, then met in person with the VP and the sales team. After that, the hiring manager and recruiter just went silent. They promised to follow up, but never did. I finally got ahold of the recruiter and found out the hiring manager never even had the headcount approved because the company is going public. Unbelievable liars who clearly don't care about anyone's time but their own. I've never experienced anything like this in my career. And to top it off, I still haven't heard back from the hiring manager, even though they promised to get back to me several times. Get it together and at least act like a human when you're interviewing people.
- Can you present your 30-60-90 day plan?
Software Test Engineer
Worst interview process I've ever had. Had 1 phone interview, 6 technical interviews. Always positive feedback but to my surprise I was not what they were looking for. It was a long process, with little coordination. In one of the interviews, the interviewer was kind of confused to see me again. It was a repeated interview, same kind of questions. I had some urgency and given the feedback was that they really needed someone with my profile, I asked them to speed the process as fast as they could. However, it took around 2 months for a final response and I had to constantly ask for feedback.
- Given a matrix of 1s and 0s, can you write an algorithm to find the row, column, or diagonal with the longest sequence of 1s?
- You're in a room with 3 switches connected to 3 light bulbs in another room you can't see. How would you figure out which switch goes to which bulb if you can only enter the bulb room once?
