I had a few phone interviews that were pretty chill and productive, talking with people from different levels at the company. It felt more like a chat than an interview, and everyone was really cool about answering my questions and helping out with travel plans for the next step.

Hiring manager contacted me initially for a few weeks because of my ucaas background. Had multiple phone meetings with the hiring manager, who missed some due to personal reasons, but we rescheduled. He then offered a meeting with his Regional VP. I wasn't totally sold on ThinkingPhones yet, but he said it would be casual. The meeting itself felt uncomfortable and very corporate with the hiring manager and then his VP. They said it was casual, but they included it in a regional sales team meeting, which was unprofessional. They talked a lot about their upcoming IPO, seed investments, and how their management sold the company to BMC for XX million and now want XXX million. It felt corporate, conceded, and uptight. They barely discussed the role or how my experience could help. I was disappointed that a young company was already so corporate. I withdrew my candidacy afterward due to the experience and culture fit.

I met with a large group of people for the interview. Nobody seemed to have read my resume or prepared for the interview. It was really hectic and chaotic. It's clear they are growing fast and don't have a consistent process. It looked like a good place to start a career, but after the interview, I decided to look elsewhere.
