First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frost Bank.
Bank Teller
I had 3 interviews, the last one was in person at the frost tower with 2 CEOs. The first 2 interviews were online and they asked easy questions. They used those questions i answered online at the in person interview to make sure I knew what i was talking about and my answers lined up.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this institution?
Customer Service Representative
I was contacted by HR and given a number to call back. I tried to reach out multiple times without success, and eventually received a generic rejection email. I'm pretty unhappy with how disorganized and unprofessional the HR team at Frost was.
- Can you share an example of a time you demonstrated exceptional customer service?
- Describe a situation where you went the extra mile to satisfy a customer.
- What methods do you use to handle challenging customer service scenarios?
Personal Banker
Frost Bank interviews typically dive into your background, customer service abilities, and technical know-how. They really care about honesty and if you fit with Frost's values. Be ready to chat about your career plans and how they match this job and the company. You should also have specific stories ready to show how you've lived values like integrity, doing great work, and being caring.
- Tell me about a time when someone helped you out.
Software Engineer
The first interview was with HR. They asked basic questions about my experience, past jobs, school history, and why I'm interested in the company. The second round was a Zoom call with four developers and a manager. It was supposed to be 30 minutes but ended up being an hour. They asked technical questions about Java and OOP principles. The third round was with all the managers and was a Q&A about culture fit. They asked about my past work and how I'd fit with the team and company. It was less technical than I expected.
- Could you describe your previous role and responsibilities, including the technology stack you utilized?
