The interview process included 3-4 rounds. First, an HR round for a general introduction. Then, a case study related to the role. After that, one round with a senior manager focusing on subject matter and role specifics. Finally, an in-depth interview with the direct line manager about your CV and the role.

I was contacted via LinkedIn by an Associate Director for a managerial role, but the interview was very unstructured and unprofessional. The interviewer contradicted himself about knowing my profile and then focused on trivial details instead of my experience. He asked me to summarize a DMAIC project in seconds, which was unrealistic. He also lacked knowledge about RPA despite claiming expertise. There was a writing assessment in Google Docs, but technical delays caused by the sharing method led to impatience and the task being cut short. When I asked about team challenges and my potential value, he dismissively said he didn't know about my experience or fit. I was ghosted afterward, which was disappointing and a waste of my time.

It was a 20-minute interview with basic get-to-know-you questions and questions about my past experiences. The interviewer seemed really disengaged, with their camera off the whole time. There were awkward silences because I had to wait for them to finish typing, and it just made the whole thing feel like I wasn't talking to anyone. They sounded really robotic and uninterested. It was a really bad candidate experience, honestly. I felt like I could have done a better job interviewing candidates myself. I just wanted it to be over.

The interview process was quite long, taking over a month to conclude. It started with three assessments. The first was a standard aptitude, reasoning, cognitive, and English test, which was manageable given my preparation for government jobs, though others might find the time limit challenging. The second assessment involved a live task during a call where we had to respond to an email along with other candidates; this was straightforward with basic email writing skills. The third was a take-home assignment requiring a review and improvement of provided documents and a roadmap creation. This was a bit tough as it involved internal documents, making it hard for an outsider to fully grasp, but I managed to pass. The next stage was an interview with the manager, where things took a turn. It felt more like an assessment than an interview, with constant observation while performing tasks like writing an email response on the spot, reviewing documents for errors, and an Excel test involving an operational task. This was also difficult as an outsider. Following these tasks, I was asked typical interview questions. The one-on-one interview experience wasn't great, and I felt it might not be a good fit. Ultimately, I received another offer and decided not to proceed with Fresh Prints, accepting a remote role with similar pay and a positive culture. Initially excited about Fresh Prints, the interview experience changed my mind. It might be a good option if you don't have other offers, as it seems promising.
