The Infosys interview is pretty chill and goes by a plan. You'll get asked about programming, databases, and some basic tech stuff, plus HR questions about your strengths, how you work in a team, and communication skills. They're looking at how you think logically, if you're clear, and your general attitude. Being confident, polite, and really knowing your projects and the basics will help you do well.

The interview focused heavily on Machine Design and metal cutting tools. Following that, I was asked about my past projects, my contributions to them, and my future career objectives. They also wanted to know how an opportunity at Ford would fit into those future goals.

The screening process was pretty straightforward. I applied through HirePro and then took an assessment that had verbal and quants sections, both of medium difficulty. There were also two coding problems; one was easy, and the other was difficult. Apparently, you can still get selected if you only solve one coding problem, which is what I did. My advice is not to waste time on the difficult one and focus on the easy one. The next stage was the interview, which was quite good. The interviewer was friendly and asked basic technical questions and HR questions about my project. It was pretty easy, and I felt like I had a good connection with the interviewer.

HR contacted me after my resume was selected. They sent my resume to the technical interview stage, which I passed. I also completed and passed the SHL test. The next step was supposed to be the final interview with the US manager, but there was a scheduling issue. An HR person scheduled a mock WebEx meeting to test my setup. Another HR person was supposed to conduct it, but no one showed up. I couldn't join the actual interview with the US manager due to technical difficulties. I made some adjustments to fix the problem. Later, a different HR person called and postponed the interview. The next day, she unexpectedly scheduled my interview with someone from the Indian technical team and then informed me that I was not selected.
