I applied via LinkedIn and Marnie the recruiter reached out. She was cool and explained the process and was flexible with my other interviews, setting up the next one fast. The second interview was a lot of rapid fire questions, but the interviewer was nice and upfront about the role. I thought it went well but then heard nothing back. After almost three weeks I followed up and she said they put the role on hold and stopped hiring for now. I get that things happen, but it would have been nice to get an update instead of just waiting and guessing.

Behavioral Other

I applied for the VP of Product and Consumer Experience role and was contacted for an initial phone interview about six months after applying. The first interview was missed without notice, and when rescheduled, the interviewer was 10 minutes late. During the conversation, she turned off her camera while I was speaking, which made engagement difficult. She seemed to be reading from notes and the conversation felt transactional, not deeply exploring product strategy or consumer experience leadership. There was repeated emphasis on the company being a logistics company, not a food company, which felt simplistic. The outlined hiring process includes a take-home project and several on-site interviews. The overall experience, including the long delay, missed interview, lateness, camera issues, and a complex process, raised concerns about internal alignment and respect for candidates' time, suggesting the organization may still be defining its processes and executive alignment.

Behavioral Technical

So, I applied, and within a day, a recruiter from Fooda called me. We chatted about how I found out about them, my background, what the job entailed, and why I was interested. Just a couple days after that initial call, the recruiter contacted me again to set up an on-site interview. I went in a few days later, did a technical test, and talked with some managers about the role and how I could fit in. About two days after the on-site, the hiring manager offered me the job, and I started the following week. Super happy here!

Behavioral Presentation

I found the PopUp Account Manager role on Indeed.com and applied online. The first step was a phone call with a hiring manager, who then scheduled a follow-up with the Director of Sales for the market. After that, I was invited to see a popup site in person, which I really liked. The final stages involved calls with two other corporate-level employees. The whole process was pretty smooth, and I learned a lot about the company. It took longer than I expected, but I think they really wanted to make sure they found the right person, which makes sense since Fooda is a growing company and needs the best people to keep expanding.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The questions were quite standard, it felt more like a conversation to see if my personality was a correct fit than to judge my interview answers.
  • If you take the time to prep for interviews you'll do fine!
