First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Folio3.
QA Engineer
I applied for a QA Engineer role at Folio3. First, I had to complete an online technical assessment. After passing that, I moved on to a second interview, which was also technical, but this time it was onsite. Then, I had a third interview with the Project Manager, which they said was just a casual chat, I figured it was for cultural fit. It seemed to go well, but a few days later I got a rejection email saying my test results weren't good enough. It was weird because I'd already passed two technical rounds. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time.

Digital Marketing Manager
The interview experience was not great. The interviewer was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. Instead of focusing on my experience, they were flirting.
- Can you share your experience?
- What is your pay scale expectation?
- What is your usual work process?
Software Engineer
It started with a Google doc screen asking about GPA and university. Then there was an IQ test (Math, logic, english) that was above average difficulty but not too hard. Next was a Hackerrank technical test with 2 easy leetcode/hackerrank questions. The first technical on-site interview asked surface level questions about OOP, Databases, and Problem Solving (algorithms). The second technical on-site interview focused on whiteboarding OOP questions and scenarios from a practical angle, had an in-depth database discussion (mostly relational databases and normalisation), and included 2 easy level algorithm design questions.
- Could you explain how to reverse a palindrome?
Product Manager
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for an initial screening call. Following that, I was asked to complete an exercise. Unfortunately, I never heard back from the recruiter after sending several follow-up messages. The recruiter's lack of communication was very unprofessional, and I expected a higher standard from a company of this size.
- Can you share details about your past experience?
- What is your desired salary range?
- Let's discuss a Product Management case study.
