flydubai Interview Questions
& Process

So there are about 3-4 technical rounds, with 1-2 of them being technical tests in the core qualifying part where you can expect to chat with engineers at Flydubai. Having good preparation and solid fundamentals really helped. Just a heads up, this is for a .NET stack role.

I applied online and then roughly 10 days later I was asked to do a virtual pre recorded interview. After that I did not hear anything for almost 2 months. Without any explanation why it took months I was asked to partake in an interview. This interview was conducted via zoom and was your standard interview. A week later I was asked to do assessments and post assessments a feedback session was scheduled. The lady which conducted the feedback session had no idea who i was, what role I applied for and spend roughly 30 minutes reading off her screen and stated the test results as facts with regards to who i am as a person. Nevertheless I was invited to a final interview which was to be a panel, also conducted via zoom. Here just 2 people showed up and was a casual conversation with quite basic questions. HR then told they would get back to me in 2 weeks… 2 weeks to turned into 4 turned into 6 with follow-up emails from my end to the recruiter and later also to the hiring manager with 0.0 responds. Ghosting was the strategy and this is how FlyDubai treats its applicants After writing one final follow up, worded a bit more strongly it finally triggered a reply stating that the entire position was put on hold and they couldn’t say if they would be hiring yes or no and asked for a minimum of 4 more weeks of patience Only to then receive a generic rejection email stating other applicants matched the role more closely (but we all know thats not true, this job just never existed in the first place)

It was a pretty straightforward process. We started with a HIREVUE, then an online personality test. After that, there was a Sim assessment in Dubai at CAE. If you passed the sim check, you'd then come in for Day 2 for the interview and document verification. Make sure to prepare well for the assessment.

They sent over some long exams, then a weird online self-interview, then a call, and after that, radio silence. It's a bummer because you can sink hours into this process, nail everything, and then just get ghosted. I finished the initial online tests, which were like 5 tests covering personality, math, and reasoning, then did a recorded interview. They called back to check my availability and discuss the role, and then... nothing.
