The interview process was really smooth and pleasant. They gave me a paid test sample on Friday, which I finished on Saturday. On Sunday, I got an email saying the team would review it the next week. On Monday, I received some incredibly detailed and professional feedback on my writing, which was great and fair after 6 years in content writing. Then they invited me for an interview, which was the day before yesterday. Vlad and Renee were super welcoming, friendly, and upfront. I liked that they focused on job-specific questions, not typical HR stuff. I accepted the offer and start in a week. My experience with Finixio was excellent!

First impressions of the company weren't great. It felt unprofessional and like they didn't value my time during the interview. The whole process was messy and seemed put together on the fly. Unexpectedly, another interviewer joined mid-interview without any introduction, and someone else showed up super late. I get that stuff happens, but it's basic courtesy to let someone know if there's a delay. And then, the late person lost connection and we didn't hear back, which just added to the disorganized vibe. They advertised the role as entry-level, but then acted like they wanted someone who could start immediately with no training. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have applied because I have zero experience with programmatic stuff. Oh, and they mentioned needing to be in the office one day a week, which is weird because the job was listed as fully remote.

A recruiter reached out about a job with a vague description. Then I met the hiring manager who seemed uninterested. After that, I got a task, which made me realize from company reviews that they might use candidates for problem-solving. I completed the tasks and did a call to explain them. We talked about bonuses and daily tasks, but then they said I was overqualified. It felt like a scam to get me to build their analysis framework. I saw this post on LinkedIn and feel bad for others who will waste time on this undignified company.

My experience with Finixio's recruitment process has been terrible, frankly a joke and a scam. I met all the requirements for this niche role, yet my application was rejected for reasons unknown. The job ad kept reappearing, making me question if the listing was even real. When I asked for feedback on my rejection, they went silent and blocked me on Skype! It also seemed like the recruiters had no clue about the technical side of the jobs they were advertising. The whole process felt shady, disorganized, and untransparent. I felt lied to and scammed. While companies can hire who they want, they should at least communicate respectfully and clearly.
