I had an initial chat with the internal recruiter. She told me about the company and the job and we talked about what they expected. After that, I interviewed with the SEO manager. Then, I had to complete a test task.

My experience with Finixio's recruitment process has been terrible, frankly a joke and a scam. I met all the requirements for this niche role, yet my application was rejected for reasons unknown. The job ad kept reappearing, making me question if the listing was even real. When I asked for feedback on my rejection, they went silent and blocked me on Skype! It also seemed like the recruiters had no clue about the technical side of the jobs they were advertising. The whole process felt shady, disorganized, and untransparent. I felt lied to and scammed. While companies can hire who they want, they should at least communicate respectfully and clearly.

The interview process started with a video call. After that, I was given an assignment which involved doing an in-depth analysis of one of their websites and suggesting optimizations and content ideas. I felt uneasy about this task as it seemed like they were trying to get free work. I later found out through Glassdoor reviews that this is a common practice for them. I spent about 4 hours on the assignment. After I submitted it, I received a standard, likely auto-generated rejection within 10 minutes. They didn't even have the courtesy to contact me personally, and it's probable they used my work on their websites. I feel exploited by this terrible experience. I advise others to avoid this company.
