So I had two phone screens, and then they flew me out for a super day at their office. The phone screens went fine, and my first two super day interviews went well too, but apparently, my second interviewer thought I wasn't interested enough. The really wild part was my third interviewer; they didn't even want to look at the presentation I worked so hard on, and then they freaked out for half an hour because I had rounded some numbers in a data table. It was honestly the strangest interview ever, but everyone else was super nice.

Behavioral Technical Case

I went to a school job fair and chatted with someone. She sent my info along, and I had a phone interview with a senior consultant. Then, a week later, I had another phone call, this time with HR. They then invited me for an in-person interview, which involved two 60-minute sessions: one behavioral and one technical. We also had lunch, and then I had to do a 30-minute case study on the computer.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So I had like two HR interviews first, then they invited me for an in-person thing that took up half my day. It was one hour of behavioral, one hour of technical stuff, and one hour for a case study. The questions were pretty standard, and they really focus on your resume, so make sure you know the technical skills listed there. The case study was a bit confusing at first, but once they actually explained what they were looking for after I asked a bunch of times, it was pretty straightforward using pivot tables and vlookup. Definitely try to get that clarification early, 'cause that hour flies by. After that, they took me to lunch with two analysts where we just chatted. They said I'd hear back in two weeks to two months. Deloitte contacted me later that day to set up an initial HR interview, and I got an offer about a week after that, which I took.

Behavioral Technical Case

I got referred for the job and heard back within 5 days to schedule a phone interview. There were 2 phone interviews in total. One was with HR to assess my fit, and another with a consultant to assess my skills. After those, I waited about 2 weeks for the final in-person interview. That involved a confusing Excel case study where I had to build a default rate curve using a pivot table. About 1.5 weeks after the final interview, I got a call with an offer, but the compensation was a lateral or downward move, and they offered me the title of 'Analyst' when I applied as 'Financial Data Analyst'. They claimed 'Financial Data Analyst' wasn't a real title there and was only used to attract candidates, which turned me off completely.
