It started with a phone interview where they asked some basic accounting questions and did a screening. Then I had an interview with the hiring manager. We had a conversational talk about my experience and then about the position. The manager liked my enthusiasm and the fact that I asked a lot of questions, showing deep interest.

I was recruited for a contract IT job and interviewed with the AVP, IT Delivery Manager. I talked about my experience and how it matched the job. I asked if there were any concerns, and he said no. I was supposed to hear back by last Wednesday but haven't. Communication isn't their strong suit. The interviewer also mentioned that these roles are long-term contracts so they don't have to pay benefits, which suggests a business that can't afford talent.

Behavioral Technical

It was a three-round virtual interview process. Each round had three interviewers. The first round was with the hiring manager, a team member, and someone from a closely collaborating team. The second round focused on technical work with individuals mainly doing that. The third round was with managers, including the Chief Risk Officer. The interviews included a mix of technical and behavioral questions. It seemed like past experience was the most crucial factor in getting the job.

It was a three-round interview process, and overall pretty easy. The first step was a phone call. Then, I had an interview with the Hiring Manager. The final round involved meeting the team for a couple of hours. I wouldn't say it was a great experience though, mostly because after the interviews, they made me wait three weeks. It felt like they had offered the job to their top choice and I was just their backup option. I had to follow up with HR a lot to get any kind of update.
