Federal Bank Interview Questions
& Process

So, I interviewed for the Customer Service Associate role at Federal Bank, and it was pretty organized. First, there was an Online Aptitude Test checking my logic, math, and English skills. Then, we had a Group Discussion over Teams, which was about seeing how well I could talk and work with others. After they checked my documents, I had a Personal Interview with a panel. They mostly asked behavioral questions, like how I'd solve problems, what I knew about their digital stuff, and if I was up for sales targets.

I recently finished up with this company's interview process, and man, it took forever. The whole thing went on for weeks and had a bunch of steps – like, first there was a recruiter call, then a technical test, then three separate panel interviews, followed by a case study I had to present, and finally a chat with the big bosses. I get they wanted to check me out thoroughly, but seriously, it was draining and I had to dig deep to stay patient. What made it worse was that they weren't super clear about how long each step would take. By the time they offered me the job, I had already gotten pretty far with other companies. My suggestion? They should totally speed things up so they don't lose good people who are interested.

First, you have to register and upload your documents in the Fedrecruit app. This will let you proceed to the aptitude and psychometric test, which is the first round. Federal bank officials will proctor the test, and the results will be posted in the app. If you pass, you'll move on to the group discussion. They'll give you a general topic. Just dress formally and contribute well to the discussion. It's best if you start or conclude the discussion, and don't interrupt others when they speak. The results will be posted, and the next steps are document verification and a personal interview. Be on time, dress formally, and be confident when answering.

So the interview was pretty good. First impressions matter. They made all the candidates including me walk around the table to gauge something out of it. The interviewers were pretty chill and they took my interview for about 20 minutes. I felt the interviewers were a bit traditional, in the sense, they were expecting more of a subservient air from the candidates they were interviewing. With regards to the questions, they were pretty much about myself and one or two technical questions about banks and such.
