& Process

There were 3 rounds in total. The first round was a written test with questions on aptitudes, reading comprehension, and logical reasoning. Around 40 students were selected from 150. The second round was a technical round with two interviewers. They asked about my academic projects, computing skills, and a couple of puzzles. I was asked to write a program or algorithm for an average problem. They also asked some HR questions at the end. 19 students were selected for the next round. The third round was a presentation round, interviewed by 9 people. I had to prepare a topic and speak about it for 10 minutes. Afterwards, they asked questions about my topic, some technical questions, and some analytical questions. I was given a situation and had to come up with a solution, focusing on my analysis process for an optimal solution. HR questions were also part of this round. 6 students were shortlisted for the job.

The whole process lasted 2-3 weeks. Candidates were selected through Career Fair. The first preliminary round was at the Career Fair, where candidates spoke about their background and profile. A couple of situation based questions were asked in this round. The next round is a face to face interview which involved behavioral questions, discussion of profile and background in detail, and questions involving logic/puzzles/basic algebra (For eg: 2 Buckets - 3Gal and 5 Gal, 3 Light Bulbs puzzle, Man using elevator puzzle). The final Round is a full day exercise. This involved introduction of company and interaction, Case Study, and a couple of interviews with senior members of the organization. The interviews were basic in nature. A puzzle here and there.

So first there was this written test, it had some logical reasoning, quant, and programming language questions. After I passed that, the interviews began. The first interview had basic questions on Java, C, and C++. Then came the second phase, where they asked about my project (definitely study your project well). After passing the second round, it was the final round. They asked me to pick a topic for a presentation and gave me about 30 minutes to prepare. My presentation was short, only 10 minutes, and then they asked me some questions about it. About 30 minutes after that, they told me I got selected.

The interview has two rounds. First, there's an on-campus round where they select candidates and ask them some puzzles and behavioral questions. If selected, candidates move to the Final round, called Ex-Cel Day. During Ex-Cel Day, all candidates are assessed on presentation, interpersonal, and behavioral skills. It starts with a case study where you present in a group, followed by a one-on-one interview with the manager, and finally, an interview with the founders.
