First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Expicient.
Associate Consultant
The interview process had 2 rounds. First was a basic Java interview covering topics like Immutability and Exception Handling. There were also 1-2 Data Structure questions, specifically about Linked List loops and finding repeating elements in an array. They also included a brainstorming puzzle. The final round involved a discussion on a topic to assess professional skills, so be ready for that.
- Can you explain String Immutability?
- Tell me about Exception handling.
- How do you find a loop in a linked list?
Associate Consultant
First, there was a general aptitude test with moderately difficult questions. Then, an interview mostly non-technical/HR with a few questions about favorite subjects/branch of study. The final round was an extempore where I had to speak about a topic of choice for 5 minutes, followed by extensive questions on it.
- Tell me about your favorite subjects and previous projects you've worked on.
Associate Consultant
I had my interview at the company's office, and they emailed me the date and location. The whole thing involved a 90-minute aptitude and technical test. If I passed that, I had a 40-minute technical interview with two people. They asked me technical questions about my projects and programming languages. The final round was a managerial interview with the office manager. It was a really good and satisfying process overall.
- Could you explain the concept of String immutability in Java?
- Can you discuss technical questions related to your projects and programming languages?
