HR
The interview started okay but then included biased questions. I completed a questionnaire with strategy questions that weren't related to the job I applied for, although I did answer them considering work readiness. There was also a biased question in the questionnaire. What was really disappointing was the lack of response to my follow-up emails. If you ask candidates to answer questions, it's respectful to let them know if they're not moving forward. Ghosting candidates is unprofessional and disrespectful, and it reflects poorly on the company's processes, especially for a company that focuses on luxury services. In hindsight, it seems like the interview was used as a strategy session to get ideas for open roles, as the questions asked were outside the scope of the job description. Overall, it was a very poor interview process with a rude candidate experience. Employer branding is important, and I wouldn't refer anyone to apply here. For what it's worth, you should do better and consider all the feedback to make changes.

Estate Manager
The application process for this company felt incredibly long. It started with a Zoom interview, followed by months of silence. Then, they reached out again, and it felt like starting over. I went through several phone calls, did some tasks, and had my references checked, only to be met with more silence. It's discouraging when qualified candidates are seemingly ignored. The pay might be good, but the drawn-out process doesn't seem worth the effort. While I understand companies have processes, this one felt unprofessional due to its length. It's my opinion that unless you have a very common name, it might be better to avoid applying here. Despite being qualified, the extended period of uncertainty was frustrating, so I'd advise others to be cautious about pursuing roles with this company.

Personal Assistant Estate Manager
So I applied for two jobs, Personal Assistant remote and PA/Estate Manager, with an agency that works for a high-profile principal. First, I had to fill out some prescreen questions. Then, a recruiter called me for a quick chat. I asked which role I was being considered for, and she said the Personal Assistant role, but it was onsite, not remote. When I questioned this and the other role, she vaguely suggested the onsite one might be a better fit and she'd check the other one later. I asked if it was a new role or a replacement, and she said it was an 'extension' to someone already there, and I wouldn't interact directly with the principals. A few days later, I had a more detailed video interview with her, which she recorded. She emphasized that dealing with difficult feedback would be a major part of the job. She mentioned the role required full vaccination, but exemptions were possible. I said I could get an exemption, and she asked which type I'd use. Ironically, she then asked if I'd be okay with getting a flu shot too. The next step, if I passed, would be sending over my references and getting vaccinated/boosted and the flu shot, plus wearing a mask onsite at all times. Honestly, for a recruiter in TN, the integrity seemed off. Having to provide such personal details before knowing if it was a good fit felt wrong. A few days later, I got a polite rejection email. I replied asking for feedback, but got ghosted, probably because they didn't actually offer exemptions as implied. It seems like they hire and post jobs very quickly.

Personal Assistant Driver
Had high expectations for this company's interview process. Made it to the second Zoom interview and was told they'd get back to me ASAP, which felt like it went well. Sent a follow-up email after a few days to check progress and see if I qualified. It's been over ten days with no response. Obviously moved on, but the 'Employer Ghosting' is definitely real here. I get they probably get a lot of candidates, but after a full second interview, they can't even send a quick 'yes' or 'no' response... The whole thing was a terrible experience. Hope this behavior isn't normal.
