the interviewer was late for the initial phone screening, and i was unsure if they would call. then they called and proceeded with the interview asking me about myself. they didn't provide me much information regarding the company and employee benefits/long-term growth. they asked a lot about experience with agencies and influencer. it seemed that it was all they cared about despite my other relevant marketing experience. beware of a project being given as part of the interview process. big red flag. i'm glad I didn't get an offer to move forward.

I applied through the website and quickly got a call from HR to schedule a phone screen the same day. The HR screen was pretty standard. After they passed my info to the hiring manager, I was told I'd made it to the next round. HR was supposed to prep me before the interview, but they sent the info at the end of the week and the interview was first thing Monday, so I didn't get to meet with HR beforehand. When I asked if I needed anything before the call, they said not to worry about it. The hiring manager interview was also pretty standard. I didn't advance to the next stage. I asked for feedback on why I wasn't selected but never heard back.

I first had a call with an HR generalist who was very professional and nice. She was also very quick with emails before and after the interviews. After that, I met with the manager that this job reports to, and this was the "technical" interview where she laid out the position and what she expects. I didn't get to the next stage, but I still thought the interview process was a good experience.

So I had two interviews with Everlane. After the second one, I thought I really clicked with the recruiter and the hiring project manager. They said they'd email me about the next steps, but then... nothing. I sent a thank you email and followed up twice, but they totally ghosted me. It's a bummer because I really like the brand's mission and products, but getting ignored after being told they'd be in touch is disappointing. I know companies get a lot of applicants, but if you say you'll let someone know, you should. Just telling people you're going in a different direction would save everyone time. It's made me not want to apply again or even shop there.
