First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ethos Group.
IT Support Manager
The interview process was thorough and consistent. They were on-time and each interviewer displayed professionalism and decorum during the entire process. The communication was timely and quick. Positive energy all around.
- How do you boost team morale and foster trust?
Software Engineer
Recruitment team contacted me first. Then I had an interview with Luke Carper, which was okay. After that, they sent me a technical test, which I completed on time and passed. They even reviewed my approach for a more professional touch. I had to wait for a while. I followed up after some time, but got no response. After a month, I asked again, still nothing. Almost two months later, I inquired again and the recruitment team finally responded, stating I was not accepted. It felt like I mostly wasted my time with them. I wouldn't recommend this company; they're not serious and the worst part is they operate in Japan now, which they should have at least mentioned.
- How would you perform when working under pressure?
IT Support Specialist
There were 3 interviews in total. The first was a phone interview with the recruiter. Afterward, there was an interview with the person who would be overseeing your training at the company. The next interview was with a manager and a team member of the IT group where they went over some questions. A lot of the questions were personality-based and based on a personality quiz that they had you take.
- Do you consider yourself to be the most intelligent person in the room?
- How do you approach working as part of a team?
- When working on a project, do you perform better individually or as part of a group?
Finance Manager
The first interview is a traditional one, focusing on getting to know you personally and understanding your motivations. They'll inquire about your background and role models to gauge your personality and drive for the role. If you pass the first stage, the second interview involves a reading assignment ("A message to Garica") and the creation of SMART goals (both long and short term). You'll discuss your interpretation of the reading and its relevance to the position, as well as how Ethos Group can support your goal achievement. The third interview is with a dealership you're being considered for, serving as a meet-and-greet to assess cultural fit; passing this stage generally means a job offer is likely. The timeline was: Interview 1 on Oct 5, Interview 2 on Oct 26, and Interview 3 on Nov 2.
