First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ethos Group.
Software Engineer
Recruitment team contacted me first. Then I had an interview with Luke Carper, which was okay. After that, they sent me a technical test, which I completed on time and passed. They even reviewed my approach for a more professional touch. I had to wait for a while. I followed up after some time, but got no response. After a month, I asked again, still nothing. Almost two months later, I inquired again and the recruitment team finally responded, stating I was not accepted. It felt like I mostly wasted my time with them. I wouldn't recommend this company; they're not serious and the worst part is they operate in Japan now, which they should have at least mentioned.
- How would you perform when working under pressure?
Programmer
It was a programmer interview with three people. Started with technical questions and stuff from my resume, then two more behavioral interviews. Didn't get an offer, which I was kind of okay with. I'm a bit suspicious about the company; they don't seem very clear about what they actually do.
- Technical questions about JavaScript, C#, etc...
Software Engineer Intern
first, I had a behavioral chat with HR, then I did a remote technical interview with some coding questions that got harder, and last, I had a final chat with a senior engineer where we talked about my answers to the technical questions.
- Could you write a program to solve the game 2048?
