Behavioral Technical

I did an assessment and then had two interviews. I passed the assessment and then interviewed with Kat, who was nice and helpful. Then I had a second interview with Lhaycia, but she was unfriendly and seemed to be sleeping. It was a really bad experience. Afterwards, they told me I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback, but she just ignored me.

So I had this interview experience with Ergeon, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The HR team set up the first interview, but then the interviewer just didn't show up, and I was left waiting with no heads-up. They did reschedule, and the second interview went as planned. During that one, they mentioned they use screen recording and time tracking tools, which I wasn't expecting and would have preferred to know about earlier. The whole process felt a bit disorganized, but the interviewers were professional and clear about what they wanted once we actually talked. They could definitely improve the candidate experience though.

Behavioral Coding

i interviewed with a third party site called ‘torre’. and to be honest i’ve never been so confused. my english was put to the test and other questions about myself was asked. and on coderbyte, i was given a live task to solve and i solved it correctly (to my own understanding) and submitted when i was confident of my answer ( i also ran the code testing for affirmation) then 20mins later i’m getting a mail saying i can’t proceed because i failed the test. failed the test?! how’s that possible when the end goal was already achieved ?! i believe it was reviewed by a bot instead of a human and it probably has a mandatory step to compare results with. i feel really sad and devastated but i’m not giving up, at least not just yet. i have reapplied but this time using their actual website and i hope i’m given a chance to prove myself.

Technical Coding

The interview process was great and I really enjoyed it all through, it helped me understand the company's process via the steps I followed. I first had a conversation with the HR team, she ran me through the process and told me how to prepare for the next after asking for my technical background and details. Next, I was given an assessment covering react and python which I submitted. Then a follow-up technical interview from a senior engineer on the team. He was awesome, even provided minimal handholding. After successfully passing the technical stage, I proceeded to the Engineering manager and that was it, I transitioned into the bootcamp selection.
