So first up was a quick 15-min call with the recruiter, then after that, there was an online assessment that you had to do, usually they want your official transcripts for that. After that, we had a 30-60 minute technical/behavioral interview, which was usually with some Engineers. It was like half behavioral, half technical stuff with whiteboard questions. The whole thing took about 2 months from start to finish.

It started with a screening interview then a technical interview. We did the interview over video call. They asked technical questions related to electrical engineering. Topics covered included basic circuits, power theory, and drawing skills.

I submitted my application online and then a recruiter contacted me for an initial phone screen. They mentioned I'd be speaking with the hiring manager next. After that, I heard absolutely nothing for over a month and a half. I kept checking in about my application status but just got silence until they finally sent me a rejection.

First, there was a phone interview where they asked standard behavior questions. You should sound excited about the work and company and also be familiar with some jobs offered. Then, a technical virtual interview with two senior engineers who will ask you in-depth questions about any previous experience. Enercon is a multi-disciplinary engineering company, so your interview will most likely cover familiarity with what's on your resume. Be ready to explain any resume experience in technical detail. There are also prepared engineer questions that vary depending on the reviewer. My question was about fluid dynamics with a basic tank, simple piping, and a valve. No math was required, just explaining concepts well. Lastly, a group team interview, which not everyone had. I had a video interview with the managers of my PRA group. This was a more relaxed interview where I was expected to ask them questions on the type of work they do and how they expect me to play a role in their group.
