First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enercon Services.
Structural Engineer
I had an interview that lasted about 1.5 hours and it was remote. First, I had a screening call with a recruiter, then she forwarded my info to the hiring teams and I got invited to meet with two hiring managers.
- Can you share an experience where you led a team facing competing priorities?
Civil/Structural Engineer
The interview took about 3 hours because there were four parts. First, an HR person talked about the company and its benefits. Then, I met with a client engineering lead, who was with the Civil Rep and Mech Rep, and they asked typical interview questions. After that, I spoke with a Civil Project lead for another client, which was more like a conversation. Lastly, I met with someone I think was the lead Civil/Structural guy. Everyone was really open about the company and made sure I knew what to expect and what they'd expect from me.
- What do you know about our company already?
- What are your career goals for the next 5 years?
Structural Engineer
I connected with Enercon at a University career fair and they let me schedule an interview for the next day. It was a straightforward screening interview with typical behavioral questions. The interviewer, a recent senior-level hire, was quite friendly and put me at ease. He had a list of questions to get through, which he seemed to do a bit mechanically, but we still managed to have a natural conversation between them.
- Can you share an instance where you needed to rapidly acquire proficiency in new software and describe your learning approach?
