Process Analyst
The interview was quick and good, they made me feel comfortable throughout. I'd highly recommend this role for individuals seeking self-development, long-term commitment, and opportunities for individual contribution. I'm happy to be part of this and wish everyone the best for what's next.
- Can you elaborate on your process and behavioral approach?
Senior Director Marketing
I had four phone interviews over a two month period: (1) recruiter, (2) head of HR, (3) CCO (who was the hiring manager), and (4) CEO. All were arranged via email with the recruiter. The CCO gave positive feedback at the end of my call with him, and he gave me pointers for interviewing with the CEO. Shortly after the CEO interview, I received a boilerplate "not moving forward" email from the recruiter. There was no further communication even with a couple of requests for constructive feedback (i.e., where did I fall short, etc.), which after four interviews over a two-month period I think I deserved. But no dice.
- Could you share your motivations for wanting to join this company?
- Can you describe your experience with marketing programs?
- What is your background in branding and positioning?
Contracts Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process. I spoke with HR, the hiring manager, and some current reporting Contracts Managers. I had calls with each person to go over the position and what they're looking for. It felt like there was a bit of a disconnect between how management and the employees saw things. After more than a month of interviewing and being told everything was going great, they didn't even bother to tell me the outcome. I had to reach out myself and got a generic rejection email. They never responded to my thank you emails or my follow-up asking for feedback. After seeing their Glassdoor reviews, I'm actually glad I didn't get the job.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
- Are you able to work remotely?
Project Manager
I had a phone screen, and then I went in for an in-person interview with four people. There was also a phone interview with someone who was offsite. I thought it was cool that I met with a mix of people, not just managers but also potential peers. They seemed really excited about working there and the company's future. I appreciated that they made time to answer my questions and see if it was a good fit for me. The only drawback was that I felt I repeated answers to some questions with different interviewers. It was funny how everyone offered me water or coffee, even though I didn't have anything on the table. I don't really drink beverages during interviews. I eventually accepted water just so they would stop offering. The interview was long but kept me engaged, and I liked that they seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say.
- What qualities define a successful project team?
- What was a recurring piece of feedback in your last three reviews?
- Describe your greatest strengths.
