The interview process was pretty clear and straightforward. We started with a screening, and then moved into a more in-depth interview where we talked about my past experience, what skills I have that are important for the job, what I expected from the role, and how I'd fit in with the team. I also got to ask questions along the way.

I spoke with a recruiter over the phone who told me the base salary was $45k. I said I was looking for six figures, but she said to come in anyway because I had the experience they wanted. I went and interviewed with the Regional Director. He asked about my salary expectations. I told him the range the recruiter gave me and asked if it was negotiable, stating I was looking for six figures. He was disappointed and said they couldn't make an offer that high. It's a big jump, but I feel the recruiter should have known the salary ranges and not wasted my time or his.

A recruiter reached out and I got invited to a hiring event at one of their hotel properties. I waited for an interview, and it was pretty easy. I got to speak with an operations manager and an hr person. Make sure to read the email with directions to the hiring event thoroughly.

My interview process started with a recruiter call, which seemed to go well and my application was moved forward to the hiring team. A second interview was set up with the hiring manager but it got rescheduled because he had to pick up his kids, which I understood. Before the rescheduled interview, the recruiter let me know that the pay for the role was being lowered due to some internal discussions at Encore. I still wanted to move forward. When I joined the rescheduled interview, the interviewer was about 10 minutes late because of an emergency. They asked if I could reschedule a third time, and that's when I decided to withdraw my application. I'd advise staying away from this company; they don't seem to value your time. Encore didn't even reach out to apologize themselves, only the recruiter, who I have a lot of respect for.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • We didn't get to the technical part because the interviewer had poor time management.
