Sales Manager
I spoke with a recruiter over the phone who told me the base salary was $45k. I said I was looking for six figures, but she said to come in anyway because I had the experience they wanted. I went and interviewed with the Regional Director. He asked about my salary expectations. I told him the range the recruiter gave me and asked if it was negotiable, stating I was looking for six figures. He was disappointed and said they couldn't make an offer that high. It's a big jump, but I feel the recruiter should have known the salary ranges and not wasted my time or his.

Sales Manager
Applied through LinkedIn and got a call from the recruiter within a few days. She asked about my experience and told me more about the job and company, plus the next steps. Then the onsite leader reached out the next week and I chose an onsite interview. We talked more about my experience and I asked him questions. The next day, the first recruiter called and said they wanted to move forward. Later that afternoon, I had a surprise Teams meeting with the Regional Sales Director where we chatted about my experience and the job details, team, and company. Within two business days, I got a contingent offer and instructions for my background check.

Sales Manager
You need to apply online first. Research the company website and Linkedin. Make sure your cover letter and resume include keywords to get your application through. The HR recruiter will call to schedule a phone interview. Be truthful and ask work-life balance questions. They might let you know if you advance at the end of the call. Send a thank you email after. The second interview has the Sales Director, Regional Director, and HR. You'll know their names beforehand, so research them and prepare to address their priorities. Dress professionally plus one level. Arrive 15 minutes early. Do your best, ask questions, and thank them. Email everyone. If you pass this, repeat the same process for the final round. Negotiate salary after the offer, within about $5k.
