The interview process was really well organized and they made sure to tell us what to expect. The staff were all very nice. Everything they said to us in person or over the phone was always followed up with an email. It started with a screening call, then a short phone interview, and then an in-person group interview. There were a lot of people interviewing, and a good number of the staff were there too. It was pretty laid back, and they had us do activities and games to see how we think, lead, communicate, and if we're generally likable.

So far the experience has been great. The recruiter, the people who interviewed me, and the onboarding team have all been amazing. The automated referral and onboarding process is also very seamless. I had a 1-hour screening round and then another round with two hiring managers. I received a verbal offer on the same day, and they work with a 48-hour SLA, which is amazing for easing post-interview nerves.

Started with a quick chat with the recruiter about my past work. When I looked closer at the job details, it seems the main thing they care about is productivity. The pay is only $60K a year, which makes me wonder if they'll have trouble finding someone. Also, seeing what people say on Glassdoor and knowing the interviewer has only been there 6 months, it feels like it might be a bad work environment. So, I decided not to move forward.

Technical Coding

The interview goes deep on tech stuff, mostly about JavaScript and how to use APIs. You also gotta know your cloud stuff, like AWS and GCP. It's all about seeing how good you are technically and if you can handle hard dev problems. They'll ask you questions to see how you'd use JavaScript in real work. This could be about async programming, closures, RESTful APIs, and different data formats. They also check your cloud skills for deploying apps, making infrastructure better, and using cloud services. It's a tough interview because they really test your knowledge and if you can solve problems. They want clear, smart answers and to see if you can think straight when things get stressful. This whole thing is to find people who can do well in tough tech jobs and use new tech.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you explain what an API is and provide examples of how you've used one?
