The interview process was really well organized and they made sure to tell us what to expect. The staff were all very nice. Everything they said to us in person or over the phone was always followed up with an email. It started with a screening call, then a short phone interview, and then an in-person group interview. There were a lot of people interviewing, and a good number of the staff were there too. It was pretty laid back, and they had us do activities and games to see how we think, lead, communicate, and if we're generally likable.

I had a first phone interview with HR that lasted an hour. After that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview with the team leader and one of his team members. During the interview, there were sexist remarks, like comparing sales to getting women, and other strange/unprofessional behavior. They said they'd get back to me either way, but then they totally ghosted me and didn't even send a rejection email.

I was really keen to interview with Employsure because I wanted to sell something I know and believe in. With my 2 years of HR experience and managing small businesses, I know how useful this service can be. The advert said NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED but warned there would be a lot to go through. I applied on 17/3. First, a predictive hire/personality test automatically sent when you apply. Then, a quick call from an Australian recruiter with a few questions. She mentioned the start date was 13/4 and wasn't flexible, which was okay as I could still resign on time. Next, another 1-hour call with an Australian recruiter about me and what I know. If successful, I'd be invited to a group interview (3.5 weeks before the start date). This group interview was at their office, lasting 2 hours with other candidates. We played games to assess communication and did some selling exercises. If successful, I'd move to the final round (13 days before the start date). This was a 30-minute ZOOM video interview, asking similar questions to the recruiter call (7 days before the start date). A lot of time was spent! After the video interview, they said I'd hear back the same night (6/4) or early morning the next day (7/4). BUT! The last step was on 6/4 and the start date was still 13/4. I have a job with a notice period and really wanted to work here, so I kept emphasizing I needed at least 7 days' notice. I didn't hear back (even after emailing) until 8/4 - I wasn't successful, apparently due to my last interview, but with no explanation. Everyone kept saying I was doing well until the final stage. I was quite disappointed with the communication and how everything was handled – it might say a lot about how they treat their employees. I'm not sure who can start working within 5 days of finding out they got the job. The recruitment team itself was lovely though, I enjoyed my interview with Sana.
