I had 4 interviews for this PM Consultant role. The first 2 were virtual, and the 3rd and 4th were in person. The final two interviews were with the MD and then a panel. It was a bit difficult as the MD was very direct and he asked for my gpa in school.

So at Emory, the interviews can be a bit different depending on what you're applying for. For undergrads, they might have optional interviews led by alumni. If you're going for grad or professional programs, you'll get an invitation and it's a more structured process. For job interviews, it usually kicks off with a screening, then you'll have panel rounds where they ask behavioral questions. These can be done either virtually or in person.

The whole thing probably took about two weeks. I talked to both supervisors of the department. The interview was about 20 mins. They introduced themselves, talked about the job, and asked me to introduce myself. They asked general scenario questions, but I made sure to use examples from the revenue cycle industry in healthcare to showcase my experience. Even if you don't have much experience, check the job responsibilities and see where your skills align when you give examples.

I applied to Emory Decatur Hospital a couple weeks back and then heard back about interviewing. The interview itself was great, I really connected with the people there. They asked skill and situational questions, like how you'd step in during conflicts between patients or providers. Even if I don't get the job, they gave me a good idea of what to expect and when I'll hear back from a recruiter. I'd suggest applying to Emory if you're looking, they seem like a forward-thinking hospital with lots of chances to move up.
