Quality Control Trainer
The interview process started with a phone call to go over my experience and talk about salary. Then, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager. I tried to focus on my personality and projects, but he was looking for more technical stuff. He had me explain my resume and asked a few more questions. This was a new role they were hiring for.
- Could you please review my resume and then ask some questions?
- Walk through your resume and then answer my questions.
Threat Intelligence and OT Security Manager
They took 5 rounds of technical interviews by 5 different senior leaders in the 1st week of contacting them. Then 2 months of silence. Then after I followed up, she says am rejected. They could have told this proactively. Crap. Worst interview process. Who in the world does 5 rounds of interview in the 1st round?
- Questions about OT Security and Info security.
Associate Scientist
Initial chat with HR to go over the interview steps and make sure we're on the same page regarding personality and what you're looking for salary-wise. Then, a chat with the hiring manager to dive into your technical skills and see if you'd be a good fit. Finally, you'll meet with some team members, the department head, and the hiring manager.
- What aspects of your current role do you find most enjoyable?
- Could you explain your reasons for seeking a new opportunity?
- Describe a time you experienced a conflict with a coworker and how you resolved it.
Director
So I had 8 remote interviews. Started with the hiring manager and the outgoing manager, then a bunch of others individually. This included people from other teams, and both the hiring HR and the business partner HR. I had one last interview with the hiring manager, and he said I'd have a final one with his boss, and that HR was scheduling it. Then... radio silence for 3 months, even though I emailed the hiring manager and HR directly. I told them I had found other opportunities and moved on.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Do you have any behavioral questions?
